Why We’re Different.
There are many types and styles of martial arts schools to choose from. Some teach only fighting, with no concern for values. Some are strict traditionalists who spend hours practicing stances and kata. True Martial Arts takes a balanced approach, teaching traditional values and classic martial arts movements, but also teaching modern self-defense techniques that are usable and effective, and life skills that students can put to use every day to become a successful, respectful, and happy person.

OUR CLIENTS LOVE US!
True Martial Arts is a very professionally managed facility. The staff is very knowledgeable. My son attended Tae Kwon Do at different schools prior to TMA and none of those were as focused in ensuring their students truly mastered a skill before they graduate to the next level.

At True Martial Arts they teach the kids respect for themselves, their family the school and other people. Their philosophy is to educate the kids how to avoid bad situations first, they teach the students that they have the right to defend themselves and that they have the responsibility to help others that can not defend themselves. They demonstrate this in their class instruction as well as their participation in community events. They are flexible in their classes that they offer and meet both individual as well as families needs. They are a family run company that truly cares about their students. Everyone fells like a member of this wonderful big family. They challenge the students physically as well as mentally. I recommend True Martial Arts because they care about their students and offer a high quality program.

I joined TMA, never having any prior martial arts experience, at the age of 43 after watching my 7 year-old son from the sidelines. TMA approach to martial arts training is a balanced mix of traditional training and values, self-defense, fitness and fun for the whole family. TMA has become an extended part of our family.

True Martial Arts has made a man out of my son. He started when he was 6 years old. He's now a 2nd Degree Black Belt, an instructor and headed off to UCLA next year!! TMA was a second home for him. The instructors were total role models. They have provided my son with confidence, strength, respect, pride, security, and family. Of all of the sports that my 3 children have been part of, I have to say TMA has provided the best influence of any sport around. I don't have one bad thing to say about TMA. I recommend them to anyone who has children. They build self confidence and self respect, respect for elders and those in charge, all aspects that are lacking from our current society. They teach that you have to earn your place in society and be in charge of your life, it isn't given. TMA was a God send for my son. I will forever owe them, I hope they realize the impact they have on children and their families. My son will always apply the concepts learned at TMA in his life and it will help him be all that he's capable of.
