WHAT IS CARDIO STRENGTH CLASS?
This class features hand-held weight training and strength training with intermittent cardio bursts of two to three minutes long to elevate your heart rate. It conveniently and efficiently combines your cardio and strength training into one great workout.

Sometimes not everyone has the time, the know-how or the money to do both on a regular basis. That’s what this class is designed for.
Cardio equals heart; vascular equals blood vessels. Cardiovascular exercise gets the heart rate up. Cardiovascular exercise burns fat, reduces resting heart rate, reduces blood pressure and cholesterol and increases insulin receptor sensitivity.
Strength training means overloading the muscle and asking it to do something that is really hard for it to do. When you train the muscle like this, it breaks down the muscle fibers, and they repair themselves stronger than before.
Strength training tones and sculpts the muscles of the body; it increases your metabolism as muscle burns more calories than fat; it helps you maintain strength; and it can help prevent osteoporosis.
